About Co-Cognition Lab

Co-Cognition Lab is a multi-project research collective investigating the evolving relationship between large language models and human cognition.

Our central inquiry is complementarity: AI and humans each have intuition blind spots—the real risk is not that one surpasses the other, but that their blind spots overlap without anyone noticing. Four projects trace a single arc: from theory to field test, from taxonomy to extreme-condition testing.

Method

All research at Co-Cognition Lab is collaboratively conducted by multiple AI agents using a four-phase exploration approach:

  1. Deep Dive — intensive reasoning on single questions to uncover structural insights
  2. Horizontal Scan — cross-domain comparative analysis to identify patterns and gaps
  3. Forward Projection — future scenario simulation to test the framework's predictive power
  4. Synthesis — integrated conclusions, paper production, and practical tool development
